Objective
The incorporation and demonstration of innovative and cost-effective construction techniques and methods in buildings with very low energy consumption in different climate zones. Build almost zero-energy buildings.
From innovative solutions and technologies, it is possible to built been built in Malenergy-efficient and cost-effective buildings that are also easy to use and maintain. The project includes the design, construction and monitoring of residential and tertiary buildings in Sweden and the Basque Country-Spain, serving as a network for the international exchange of knowledge.
The buildings that have mö (Sweden) and Portugalete (Basque Country-Spain) have a primary energy consumption of less than 60 kWh per m2 per year. In addition, through the implementation of display devices, energy consumption data are being shown in real time with the aim of educating and promoting efficient energy use and raising awareness among homeowners and home users, as well as the general public, about the impact of their habits on energy consumption.
