FCC Construcción Romania celebrates its 20th anniversary of activity in the country
FCC Construcción Romania has been awarded for its 20th anniversary of activity in Romania. The award was presented by the Feroviar Club, which is a prestigious institution dedicated to the railway sector in Romania and Europe.
FCC Construcción began its activity in Romania in 2003. In its 20 years of presence in the country it has carried out various projects, including the construction of the Basarab flyover, an emblematic project in Romania and in Europe; the construction of line 5 of the Bucharest Metro; the rehabilitation of several sections of railway in Transylvania, which form part of Pan-European Corridor IV; and the Constanta ByPass on the shores of the Black Sea.
It has also executed several motorways in Romania, such as the Timisoara-Arad motorway and the Constanta bypass. It has rehabilitatedthe DN1 national road between the towns of Dej and Baia Mare, which involved improving the road surface and widening the existing route with a length of 86.50 kilometres.
The company has undoubtedly become a key player in the Romanian construction sector, positioning itself as a leading company in the country through the execution of key infrastructures that have clearly improved the quality of life of citizens.
