During the execution of the Plaza de Les Glòries project, in Barcelona, it was identified that the earthworks and the transport of materials generated dust emissions and, therefore, could have an impact on air quality in the vicinity of the project, which was being developed in an urban environment.

To reduce dust emissions into the atmosphere, FCC Construcción installed a system of foggers that sprayed water on the trucks within the area of circulation in the urban environment. These foggers were placed on both sides of the exit ramps, making up 258 metres of line of foggers fed by 6 litres per minute pressure equipment and with a distance of 1 metre between them.

Thanks to this action, dust emissions into the atmosphere were considerably reduced.
