Since 2010, an FCC construction area has implemented a Stove Effluent Gas (GEE) measurement protocol, aimed at quantifying and eventually reducing emissions. This update promotes the adaptation of the Group's computer applications for the quantification and statistical treatment of these emissions, a fact that is recognized in the category of "Gestão para o desenvolvimento sustentável" at the 12th edition of the European Environment Awards.

The measurement protocol, which follows the requirements established in the ISO 14064-1:2012 standard and the ENCORD reference for the sector, receives or is labeled “Built on GHG” by the GHG Protocol.

As a result of the application of this protocol, specific reports are prepared, verified and published annually, where the GEE inventory of the works and centers of the Group's construction area is collected.
